Manufacturing software, built around the ERP and the shop floor
Zulbera builds the software layer industrial and B2B manufacturers need around the systems they already run — MES, ERP, PLM. Supplier portals, shop-floor apps, quality systems, IIoT-driven operations dashboards, and customer self-service. ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 and 21 CFR Part 11 baked into the workflow, not bolted on at audit time.
Six systems. One coherent layer.
SAP DM, Siemens Opcenter, Plex, Tulip, Critical Manufacturing — bidirectional integration between the shop floor and the SaaS layer your office runs on.
SAP S/4HANA, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Infor — order, inventory, BOM and financial data flowing both directions, reliably.
Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Aras Innovator — product data, change orders, BOMs synchronised between engineering and operations.
OPC UA, MQTT, MTConnect ingestion. Edge gateways feeding cloud time-series stores (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB, AWS Timestream). Equipment telemetry that founders can actually query.
eDHR / electronic device history records, batch genealogy, NCR/CAPA workflows, supplier quality portals. Audit trails that survive ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949 audits.
EDI (X12, EDIFACT) for trading partners, ASN/inventory feeds, multi-warehouse OMS, supplier portals with PO/forecast collaboration.
Manufacturing product shapes we ship
Connected operations dashboards
Real-time OEE, throughput, scrap and downtime visualised across plants. Drill from a falling-OEE alert on the executive dashboard to the specific machine, shift, and operator inside two clicks.
Supplier & customer portals
Self-service portals where suppliers receive POs, submit ASNs, manage PPAP/quality docs; customers track orders, request RFQs, download shipping documents and certificates.
Quality and compliance platforms
eDHR, batch records, NCR/CAPA, supplier quality, calibration tracking. ISO 9001 / AS9100 / IATF 16949 / 21 CFR Part 11 evidence built into the workflow, not added on at audit time.
Custom WMS & shop-floor apps
Tablet- and scanner-based apps for receiving, putaway, picking, packing, kitting. Built for one warehouse or one production line — not configured into a 1,000-feature WMS your team will not use.
Common founder & operator questions
Do you replace our ERP or build on top of it?
On top of it. Replacing SAP S/4 or NetSuite is a multi-year, multi-million programme — we are not that kind of partner. We build the software around the ERP that the ERP cannot do well: supplier portals, shop-floor apps, quality systems, customer self-service, IIoT-driven operations dashboards. The ERP remains the system of record; the SaaS layer we ship makes it usable.
Can you integrate with our legacy MES / PLC / SCADA?
Yes. We have shipped against OPC UA, MQTT and MTConnect for shop-floor connectivity, and against legacy systems via middleware (Kepware, Cogent DataHub) when direct integration is not available. For PLC-level data we work with edge gateways (AWS IoT Greengrass, Azure IoT Edge, Litmus Edge) so the cloud SaaS layer stays decoupled from the millisecond-latency control loop.
How do you handle 21 CFR Part 11 / FDA-regulated manufacturing?
For regulated manufacturing (medical device, pharma, food-grade) we build with electronic signature support, audit trails that capture who-what-when on every record, validated SDLC documentation, IQ/OQ/PQ artefacts and access controls aligned to GAMP 5 categories. We are not a CSV consultancy — we work alongside your QA / regulatory lead so the engineering record matches what an inspector expects to see.
How long does a manufacturing SaaS build take?
Supplier portal MVP integrated with one ERP: 12–18 weeks. Shop-floor operations app (one plant, one MES integration): 16–22 weeks. Quality / eDHR platform (regulated manufacturing): 24–36 weeks including validation artefacts. Multi-plant operations platform with IIoT telemetry rollup: 9–15 months for the foundation, then plant-by-plant rollout from there.
Do you work with industrial / B2B manufacturers, or only DTC?
Industrial and B2B is the centre of gravity here. The model fits manufacturers running multi-plant operations, supplier networks, contract manufacturing programmes, distribution channels — where the software is operations-critical, not a marketing layer. DTC manufacturing brands fit our [E-Commerce industry practice](/industries/ecommerce/) more naturally.
Can you build AI / predictive maintenance features over IIoT data?
Yes — once the telemetry and labelling infrastructure are sound. The honest sequence is: ingest reliable telemetry → normalise and store with provenance → label events (downtime causes, quality defects) → train models on that labelled dataset. Skipping the first three steps and jumping to "AI predictive maintenance" is the most common reason these programmes underdeliver. We design the pipeline before the model.
